Our mother opened Jervaulx Abbey Tearooms in 1994, homebaking has always been at the heart of this business. Baking every cake with the same passion because we grew up on cake and we have loved developing our own recipes over the years. Even writing and creating our own recipe book. Each tier of your cake can be a different flavour, offering a choice to your guests and below is a list of our award winning cake flavours which we have carefully developed and offer.
All our cakes are made using the highest quality ingredients including real butter, local free range eggs, Madagascan bourbon vanilla and real Belgian chocolate, local Coffee from Coffee Care in Skipton and more! With a special mention about the jam, made locally by the award winning Rosebud Preserves, they are delicious.
Each cake is freshly baked to order ensuring your special cake is the best tasting cake possible. We have over 26 years baking experience, from within our family run Tearooms which we pride ourselves on always obtaining a full 5 start food hygiene rating.
We take huge pride in our award winning cakes tasting as good as they look, we also provide your venue with a full list of ingredients including allergens within the week of your wedding. Over the years we have gained so much experience with our customers in the Tearooms the importance of understanding exactly what you’re eating, especially if you have a intolerance or allergy.
